Translating the AR object

May 19, 2011 - 6:20pm #1

Hey,

I am using ImageTargets project and I am trying to translate the object. I looked into the ImageTargets.cpp file and editted this line of the OpenGl 2.0 code. I have changed to 2 arguments as you can see below.

SampleUtils::translatePoseMatrix(10.0f, 10.0f, kObjectScale,
&modelViewMatrix.data[0]);

But I am unable to see this translation when I run the app. Can you please let me know if I am missing anything. I am new to OpenGL and am learning these things On the Go. Thanks for the help!

Hi

A selection of translated web pages can provide visitors with the most essential information, but a localised website creates a full first impression of your business and will draw in new customers.  Web users are four times more likely to purchase from a site that communicates in the customers language source International Data Corporation  of internet consumers spend more time on sites available in their own language educational translation source Common Sense Advisory  Visitors stay for twice as long if a website is in their own language source Forrester Research.

Two things:

The image targets included in that sample are 247 units across (see the config.xml file). You may want to try a bigger offset, say moving the teapot by 100 units.

Also, make sure you run ndk-build each time you change the cpp code. You may need to refresh the project in Eclipse to grab the changes (right-click on the project in the Package Explorer and choose Refresh).
