ok, so forget about CMS.

so if i go with java, i need to make a servlet right ? that means, having a tomcat server running on the web hosting service right ?

and if i go with php, i need apache running on the web hosting right ?

- how can i use those web services through a CMS like wordpress ?

This is beyond the scope of this Forum, as it really depends on the specificities of each CMS (and we cannot advise on CMS implementations)

- how can i use those web services via a simple web page ? what language to chose ? Java / JSP or PHP ?

I would tend to say that integrating PHP in a web page is the simpler option, in general;

however this also depends a lot on your preferences and SW skills; if you are a good Java developer and have experience with JSP as well, you could go with Java, of course, and be happy with it.

You don't need any web page or java servlet to use the Java samples;

you just need to run them as a standard desktop application; for example, if you take the GetAllTargets.java file, you will see that it has a Main() method, which means that you can run that as a Java application (same for the other sample files).

Of course you need to build the samples, the easiest option would be to install Eclipse and create a project from the Java source file
