Prevent mid-air object repositioning on tap.

I just can't find a way to prevent this as there's no tap/touch/click listeners in the core examples for mid-air.

Is there something I need to extend in order to access where this occurs ?

Thanks for any help as I've lost the afternoon on this now :(
