2 framemarkers ans object's (dis)orientation

November 26, 2012 - 6:25am #1

Hi,

I actually have an unity3d application using 2 framemarkers.

When only one is visible (the landscape), all child objects are well placed.

When I insert in the camera frustrum the second framemarker (the vehicle), some (randomnly choosed) objects are misplaced.

It seems that they're aligned width the vehicle, as if there was a confusion between the two patterns.

Do you have any idea of what is the cause of this problem ?

Here are 2 screenshots imaging the problem

Everything's good !!!

Are Bot and Map your FrameMarkers? Also are you markers the same size? - sometimes you can see unexpected behavior when the targets are not the size that they are expected to be. If this is not an issue w/ the relative target sizes, I may need to take a look at your project - or a simplified version that demonstrates the problem.

If you copy/paste the link to a new browser's window, it should work.

The problem came from the hoster and if I insert an image directly in the post, it doesn't work anymore.

You can find a unity3d editor screenshot here : http://g.vinson.free.fr/screenshots/ARBots-unity.jpg

That FTP site is asking for a username and password. You can PM me a link if you'd like.

What is your world center mode setting on the ARCamera, and what are the relative sizes of your frame markers?

Can you post a screen shot of your project in the Unity Editor so that we can see the scene layout and expanded Hierarchy panel?
