Have you tried your video with the new VideoPlayback sample ? do you get the same issue ?

I just did that now, same issue. Works fine on a new project but not in the upgrade.

Have you tried cleaning up the project (e.g. removing all the directories generated by NDK build, such as ./libs ./obj ./bin) and rebuilding ?

Also, maybe I would try uninstalling the app manually from the device before reinstalling the updated one...

I did uninstall the app manually and it didn't help. I didn't try to clean the project, I was in a hurry and it was just faster to restart the project from scratch. I am still curious though if anyone else has been able to do it. There aren't any extra plugins or packages installed either, it's just straight up Vuforia.
