Access Video From Application.Persistantdatapath in AR

HI everyone!

I am developing an AR app in Unity using the  vuforia videoplayblack example and I found a problem I can not solve by myself...

The app has like 20 videos and I don't want to put all this data in the assets folder like in the example, so I download all them in a first scene and save into:

Application.persistentDataPath +"/"+ filename;

 

Just can you tell me where i need to make changes in VideoPlayerHelper script  or amy where else.

 

Please Help Me.

Hi,

To play the video on iOS devices, you will have to add "file://" to the front. For Android it is not required.

But, one problem I am facing in iOS is that the video is not played on texture even though it is played from the persistent path. Does anybody know the fix?
