Accessing AR Camera

April 7, 2013 - 10:55am #2

Hello All ,

i'm building an Application using QCAR and Moodstocks image recognition ,

what i want to do i have that i have made an android plugin for unity and it starts by calling a method that activate the moodstock recognition ,

but i want to pass to the function 2 paramters

1. the Current activity (i have already made that)

2. the Camera (Surfaceview)

so i was asking how can i pass to my method the AR Camera as a surface view

or how can i access the AR Camera so i can pass it to the AndroidJavaClass method

Thanks,

You're not going to be able to pass a reference to the ARCamera as a surface view, but you can access the camera Image ( see the Image class ) and write that to a surface's associated Canvas.

What's the motivation for using Moodstock when you can perform localized image recognition using Device Databases?
