Adding Unity project to native iOS app

April 29, 2014 - 9:51pm #1

I am just getting into this AR stuff and just a little confused. I made an image target with annimation no problem and exported it for iOS to open in XCode. When I opened that project the file structure was much diffent than normal apps I have set up. If I wanted to have lets say a regular tapcontrolled app with one tap or button open the AR camera to start the experience, do I build ontop of this project from unity? If so, what viewcontroller in the unity project do I segue to for starting the experience? I looked at the sample projects but they do not look like they where built in unity. Just wondering the steps to having a regualr app with a AR experience. The ios section of the docs just says how to set up the file structure, I assume you have to use Unity to set up the image targets and models right??? Any help would be great.

If you are wanting to have non-Vuforia sections of your Unity-based app, you will probably want to research the "game levels" design concept that Unity promotes.
