Adreno200 GL_OUT_OF_MEMORY

Hi,

I am getting a GL_OUT_OF_MEMORY on Android when resuming the application on my Nexus 4.

It works fine until I perform some action which puts Vuforia into the background, and when I resume I get the GL_OUT_OF_MEMORY.

I am running the latest Vuforia with Unity 4.2.0

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the report. Please try the ImageTargets sample as well. That contains scripts that use OnGUI and will help to isolate the issue.

Hi,

I can confirm that the issue is being caused by Unity GUI.

When this is taken out, its all working fine.

I have tested this with a clean project, and just a trigger with a cube on it. This seems to be working fine.

However, it seems that OnGUI is causing an issue, and when I have a script which uses this, it will throw the error when I pause and resume the application. I am testing this more thoroughly now, and ill let you know if I find out if this is the cause.

Hi,

I have not tried with one of your samples, I will do this now.

As for how long it takes, after I resume the application, within the AR Camera is not functional at all, just a black background, and Logcat outputs a continuous stream of the GL_OUT_OF_MEMORY errors.

Is this with one of our samples, or your own app?

How long does it take before that error is thrown?
