Aligning virtual content to gravity

Hello,

We have a project where the augmented content is naturally going to always be oriented horizontally with respect to gravity - i.e. sitting flat on a surface. While we can have the user place the target flat on a surface, it would be nice to use the knowledge that the item should be flat in the real world so that it won't matter how the target is oriented.

Has anyone had any success using the gyroscope on the device to inform the pose of the augmented content, while still using vuforia to track its position?

Hi Patrick,

I have the same scenario, tried using accelerometer input but no success. Have you already found something ? It would be great if you can post an update ?
