I was wondering if we can use textures with transpariencies or turning down the alpha channel in Unity shaders to create an transparency effect with Vuforia for Unity. I have tried fading out an object with a push of a button by turning down the alpha channel, but the object just disappeared.

Have you confirmed whether your shader is working for the Unity movie texture on you mobile device?
