App crashing on start using Unity 3.4 and Asus Transformer

May 27, 2012 - 12:11pm #1

I'm trying to use the Unity extension and following the tutorial to build a sample app with trackable and the cube floating on top of it. I followed the instructions, however when I try to build and run on my Asus Transformer TF101, it crashes on startup with the familiar "sorry, app closed unexpectedly" message.

Android: 4.0.3
Unity: 3.4.0f5

My Android SDK path (as specified in Unity) does not contain spaces, which I read, apparently, might cause issues.

Does anyone know what might cause this problem? Thanks!

I have the same Issue, I'm running unity 3.5.2,
I have a Asus transformer and Asus Transformer Prime,
Everything works fine and great on transformer prime, but Crashes on launch on Transformer.

Hello jonlai9,

Unity 3.4.2 is the minimum supported version that works with Vuforia. If possible, please try update Unity to version 3.4.2 or later and compile and run your application again.

Were you able to run the sample applications? If not getting the Image Targets sample app to run is a good first step.

Thank you,
