Apple OS virtualization on a PC

April 15, 2013 - 7:57am #1

I work with a PC and have had success developing Android AR applications using Unity with the Vurfia extension. I would like to develop for Apples IOS but the Unity IOS development extension only works on apple computers. Is it possible to run an Apple OS on my PC through virtualization and be able to fool Unity and Apple so that I may deploy a IOS AR APP all the way to the Itunes market? Has anyone successfully done this? Thank you.

There are ways to run OSX on a PC - see Google - but you should check with Unity to determine whether those approaches may interfere with the Unity license verification or other features of the Unity environment.

I think you will most likely need to buy a Mac.
