December 29, 2013 - 5:24am #1

I have button on change the scene. When i click the button, it taking 5 to 10sec to load the next scene. Even i used AboutScreenmanager.cs script start button also. It taking time to load my second scene. Why?

GUI.skin.button = startbtnstyle;
if(GUILayout.Button("Start", startbtnstyle)){

How many polygons are the objects? How big is the texture (image) that is attached to each object/model?  The texture will likely be the biggest slowdown, not the number of models...  resize the textures to be smaller and compare load time...

Yes empty scene loading fast. I have 5 ImageTarget and 5 model for display in scene. Is this cause problem?

Load time for next scene is based on the amount of content in it. If it's an empty scene it will load very fast, if it has lots of big textures it will take much longer. How many verts/tris on each of the models you're using? They should be only a couple thousand.

What size textures are you using? How many materials are on each model? What shaders are being used? Are you using maps like bump, specular, cubemap?

What kind of device are you using and how much memory does it have?? Old phones/tablets can be slow even on small scenes (ipad 2 era).

Not enough information to tell you anything useful....

See Getting Started to learn how to set-up ADB for your environment - https://developer.vuforia.com/resources/sdk/android

And keep in mind that there is going to be some latency when loading a new Unity scene; it's not instantaneous. The larger the scene, the longer it will take to load. You can reduce the load and instantiation time for the Vuforia SDK by persisting the components from the initial scene. See Keep Alive: https://developer.vuforia.com/resources/dev-guide/special-options-unity

Also you'll be helping yourself by learning more about Unity. They provide a lot of tutorials covering both basic and advanced topics - http://unity3d.com/learn

If you're really stuck, you can post to the Opportunities forum to hire someone to work on your project - https://developer.vuforia.com/forum/ar-technical-discussion/general-discussion/vuforia-developer-opportunities

It may be that you are reinitializing the SDK. What' do your logs indicate?
