Calibrate model with the real object

Hi maybe this is not directly related to vuforia, but if some one can point me on the right direction I will appreciated it.

I need to position the 3d model over the real object, I tried to move the model on the unity editor to match the real object, but when I move the camera to another perspective the 3d model lose his corresponding position with the real object. So any tips to math correclty the 3d model to the real object?

Typically the 3D model is a child of the Image Target - have a look at the sample.

This way wherever the target is, the model should then be positioned relative to its pose matrix.
