Hi guys,

I want to be able to create an Image Target in run time from a texture I'm downloading from my server. Is this possible?

in the editor the dataset is just not updated (bug i guess) - but it is working like a normal imageTarget. If it is detected camera will see it and attached children will be displayed correctly.

Hello,

I was able to load the dataset from persistentDataPath, but the issue is that it creates NewGameObjects in the hierarchy with ImageTargetBehaviour script, but when you analyze them via inspector, no dataset is loaded. However console show a log of creation of these new game objects.

Were you people able to create image targets dynamically and manipulate them if yes, could you please share the step.

You need to upload the image into the Target Manager first and export a dataset or use a Cloud DB. The plain texture or image needs to have feature points generated for it. Once you have a dataset you can download it from your server and load it dynamically from an SD card.
