combination of target images to display 1 mesh object

April 12, 2013 - 2:27pm #1

Hi,

I have two image markers that i would like to display a single object each which works fine, however when they are displayed together, instead of showing the single mesh on each of the markers, I would like to be able to detect that both markers are active and therefore show a different mesh object.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for any help :0

Hi remotedeveloper,

You need to write some code in C# to achieve this functionality.

Specifically you need to modify the DefaultTrackableEventHandler that is attached to the Image Targets within the Scene view.

I provided an example here:

https://developer.vuforia.com/forum/unity-3-extension-technical-discussion/activatedeactivate-gameobject

...showing how to display a single random object as an augmentation for an image target, and you can do something similar for your own needs.
