Create ID when Camera "sees" Target Image

February 13, 2017 - 10:50pm #1

I'm trying to create an indexing variable that tracks and assigns the number of Target Images seen by Unity. So if Unity sees a Target Image it makes a makes a variable, lets say ID, and gives this object ID number of 1. If another Target Image is found it gives that object and ID of 2.

Can someone point me in the direction of how to do this? Either a Library or a sample code?

Create ID when Camera "sees" Target Image

I think I've found what to do. Please close this thread.

Edit: Nevermind I was wrong.

So I'm trying to find a way to get the Trackable IDs for my target images so that I can alter the script found here "https://developer.vuforia.com/forum/faq/unity-how-can-i-popup-gui-button-when-target-detected" to work with multiple GUI popup windows.

Right now I have only 1 popup is showing up and tracking with any number of target images. The images are being read properly, I have both my sprites on screen, but the GUI is only following 1 sprite.

Does someone have an idea on a work around? I've been trying to find examples on the forums or references in the API, but a lot of the pages are empty or previous versions.
