Dynamically changing target scale in Unity

December 6, 2013 - 7:41am #1

I'm using several targets in a scene, and have the ArCamera setup to use FIRST_TARGET as world center mode. I would to be able to calibrate the targets in run-time, and I can effectively change the position and angle of the targets, but when I change the scale, it only changes after a restart. In other words, when I change the scale in edit mode from 2 to 1, the world objects will appear twice as large when I run. But if I change the scale during runtime, the world objects stay the same relative to my physical target. I believe there must be an initial scale setting that only gets set when the engine starts up. Is there a way to re-trigger this during runtime?

I change the Targetobject.transform.localScale

When I watch in the scene editor, this also changes the width of the target.

As I said before, this has different effects depending on whether I do it before or after hitting play.

How are you attempting to change the scale?
