.FBX file doesn't show animation

June 26, 2013 - 7:47pm #1

Hi, I've been trying to find answers for this question and I can't find any info. I'm importing .fbx - 3D model + animation into Unity and it reads the animation, my problem is when I put in play mode it recognizes the target and the 3D model appears but without the animation. I'm I missing something? Could somebody help?

Try searching the forums for Animation

The animations will not appear automagically.  You need to write some code as I described in the above thread.

The animation is set to start playing only when it´s being rendered. So, since your renderer is turned off when starts, then no animation gets called, so when the tracker is recognized, the animation will not play.

You have to write a script that triggers the animation once the image gets recognized.
