DavidBeard,
I tried using the CameraDevice.Instance.Stop();.. it stopped the camera feed and locked the position of the augmentation. but it dint freeze the animation of the augmented object..
Eg: i have a fire pot
After i stop the camerafeed, the position of object is locked and camera feed is also frozen .good.
But the animation of the burning fire still keeps burning..
Likewise i have a plane whose texture keeps changing.. which i don want.

i'd like to show a preview here..a ny suggestions..

CameraDevice.Instance.Stop() should do that for you. Use Start() to unfreeze it. Though I'll check as to whether that behavior is guaranteed across devices. Otherwise you'd want to grab the the Image using GetCameraImage([PIXEL_FORMAT]) and use that to render your screenshot.
