GI: material does not have Meta pass

In the console on IOS when I run my app everything appears to run correctly, but I get immediately after this line

cameraDeviceGetVideoMode

This line repeating many many...many times

GI: material does not have Meta pass, and could not find default material. Object will not be affecting GI.

Doea anyone know what this means and how I could track down what is causing it?

Thanks, yes I am using Forward rendering path and all my other settign match those on the link you refer too :-(

The error appears to be saying that the object that has the material in question assigned to it will not be used in the Global Illumination (GI) calculations because it doesn't have a Meta pass defined in its shader. Are you using Forward rendering path? You might check your export settings against these:
