I finally decided to upgrade to Unity 4. I downloaded and installed the latest version 4.1.2 f1.
The Vuforia package does not show up in the asset store.
Further, when I download and run vuforia-unity-android-ios-2-0-31.exe, it says preparing to install, then when the status bar reaches 100% it just exits.
I'm using win7 64bit.
Any ideas as to what could be going wrong?
Thanks,
Wes
I ran a search for all *.unitypackage, and vuforia*, and it isn't on my computer. The installer never gives me an option to choose an install directory. It completes the "InstallAnywhere is preparing to install" then exits. It doesn't get to the Qualcomm branded screen.
I was able to install on a different PC just now and copy the unityPackage manually. Even though that old machine is Vista (yuck) it looks to work ok back on my development PC. That's good enough for me and I don't need further help unless you guys want to understand what is going wrong. I suspect a problem with jre.
Thanks,
Wes
