Hello everyone,

I'm facing this error too, I'm using Unity 5.0.2 and downloaded the latest Vuforia 6.0.117. When I import the SDK and add the imagetraget prefab to my scene, everytime I click on the imagetarget gameobject I get 4 of this error:

MethodAccessException: Method `UnityEditor.SerializedObject:ApplyModifiedPropertiesWithoutUndo ()' is inaccessible from method `Vuforia.EditorClasses.ImageTargetEditor:DrawPredefinedTargetInspectorUI (bool)'

I'm not sure what is causing this problem but it prevents me from specifying the Tracker I need to add the Augmented content on.

With the new announcement that Googleplay will refuse Vuforia apps that has SDK less than 6, helping us with this issue should be the top priority.

Yes, it appears that with the Unity SDK version 6, the way to specify image targets has changed, so the many tutorials out there that show how to specify the image to be tracked with SDK < 6 leave us stuck. Looks like we need some new tutorials out there with SDK 6. In all the tutorials I've seen, the ARCamera's Database Load Behavior component has different settings now in the inspector.

So I'm just agreeing that we need help!

Hello,

Which version of Vuforia Unity Extension? Which version of Unity Editor?

Information on Vuforia supported versions can be found here:

https://library.vuforia.com/articles/Solution/Vuforia-Supported-Versions

Thanks

Hi,

I am new to AR and unity.

Fot try out i am following below given steps to create my first application:

https://www.sitepoint.com/how-to-build-an-ar-android-app-with-vuforia-and-unity/

But i am facing same issue - Image target drop down missing under Image Target Behaviour(Script)

Though I am able to see my imagetarget database files(XMl & dat)  downloaded from vuforia under Assets -->Streaming Assets -->QCAR

But when i click on "Predefined" under Image Target Behaviour(Script) section gets following error:

MethodAccessException: Method `UnityEditor.SerializedObject:ApplyModifiedPropertiesWithoutUndo ()' is inaccessible from method `Vuforia.EditorClasses.ImageTargetEditor:DrawPredefinedTargetInspectorUI (bool)'

You can find attached snap for the same.

Thanks in adavance

See: https://developer.vuforia.com/resources/tutorials/image-targets-unit

After adding your ImageTarget to the scene Hierarchy, be sure that it's type is set to Predefined and that your dataset is in Streaming Assets / QCAR

If that doesn't help, please post a screen grab of your scene in the Editor w/ the Hierarchy expended and the ImageTarget Inspector apparent.

What version of Unity are you using?

If you start with a fresh project and import the ImageTargets sample do you see the drop down with the chips and stones target names? You need to select an ImageTarget in the scene, not the prefab.

If the drop down doesn't populate correctly on import you may need to restart Unity.
