Image Target Ray Hits

April 17, 2014 - 6:15pm #1

Hi Guys,

I am facing a problem in Unity as I am trying to detect Ray hits on the image target itself. As I click on the image target inside the applicaiton, the ray hits are not correctly registered to the whole area the printed image target, but rather to a small section of the printed image (As if the actual printed image target is smaller and misaligned in comparisong to the digital image target).

It seems that the printed image target and the digital image target are not perfectly aligned in terms of position/size during run time.

How can I detect ray hits when I directly touch or click within the region of the printed image target?

Thanks,

Image Target Ray Hits

Have you tried placing a VirtualButton prefab on the ImageTarget and calculating the ray hits using that object instead?
