Hi I am trying to have an object appear on top of the cereal box that has a semi transparent glass material on it. unfortunately the cereal box is blocking what i should see inside the overlayed object with glass faces. what is the best way to handle this? HOpefully not with a multi cam setup using layer masks...?

Image Target transparent?
March 22, 2013 - 4:57am #3
Hello,
I understand that this is a fairly old thread, but I'm trying to achieve a similar functionality. I'm editing the Occlusion Management sample for my custom multi target and 3d object. Till here, everything is working fine. What I want to do is to make the box completely disappear instead of the current "background.png" texture. I also understand that I've to make necessary changes in the RenderBoxBackFace shader, but am not being able to quite get there. I'm really bad at Unity3d shaders! Can anybody help me out on this one?
Regards,
Parth
