Imagetarget as trigger

March 29, 2013 - 6:06am #1

Hi all,

I have an issue where I need to turn off assets, audio and GUI when a specific marker is currently being tracked by the camera. Whilst vice versa when it is no longer being tracked. The main problem is that I can't find a way to get hold of something I can use as a trigger to do so.

Is there any script I can use to either recognise a specific marker when it is tracked by the ARCamera?

Is there anyway to track the video playing with the video prefab from video playback unity package?

I am just looking for a means to use the imagetarget as trigger and javascript prefered.

Please help.

This could be a solution:

if (transform.name=="your marker")

{

//your trigger

}

Okay I have added and tested triggers to luanch scripts when the marker is "onTrackingFound"

The next issue is to call each marker by name and assign them a specific trigger.
Basically one marker is GUI on and the other will be GUI off as one of the markers does not require a GUI.

How do you call up an imagetarget by name and assign them an animation to play?
