Licence Nightmare

Hi,

We are using Unity 5.3 with Vuforia 5.0.10, and a classic licence. For some reason every now and then a new build will not work with our paid licence!

The dataset is loaded successfully but will never initialize tracking, sometimes swicthing back to a free licence works, not often. As far as I can see via git logs nothing is changing code wise between these builds, only simple transform and material changes.

Any ideas what could be happening here?

It's an iPad 4 running iOS9

I managed to get it working again by reimporting the dataset unity package and the vuforia package but this is the second time I've had to do it and I have no idea why that fixes it

This may not be a license-specific issue. You can verify your license by using it in one of our sample apps. Sometimes, depending on your app's initialization of Vuforia, a license error might be seen, but the actual cause may be a resource conflict. You can also put the device into Airplane mode and see if the issue is still reproducible. Which iOS devices and OS versions are you experiencing this with?
