Making Video prefab AssetBundle for Cloud Reco

Hi,

I am having problems doing assetbundles from video prefab. I am trying to play different video with cloud recognition. I thought making a video prefab assetbundle and then downloading it and altering the path to video (downloaded too) may solve it but I couldnt do it. Video prefab is extracted from assetbundle but it is so small. Can anyone help?

Hi, putting a full VideoPrefab in an asset bundle may not work, as the video prefab relies on some precompiled native code and is likely to be not fully compatible with the Asset Bundle policies.

A much preferrable way of doing the same is by just storing the URL of the video that you want to play in the Metadata of your Cloud Targets (i.e. each Target has a metadata, in which you can specify the desired video URL), and then just point a normal video prefab instance (not downloaded from any asset bundle) to play the video from such URL.
