Multiple Targets keeping 1 Models orientation

March 1, 2012 - 11:10am #1

I am looking at using this tech. for large scale applications, and was wondering if the Multiple targets can be setup in a shadow box type setup, meaning there is mulitiple targets helping keep the orientation as the user moves the tablet from up to down, left to right. Think of a shoe box, and putting a target on the interior on all sides and the bottom. (so 5 total) So then its turned on its side and the user is standing in front of the box. So as they move their tablet, they always have a target in view helping them keep the model they are exploring in position. I am looking to do this in a scenario where we have a larger space, and tablets available to explore with, but they will be exploring something as large as a car or a locomotive. I have gotten all the current examples to work, and I am going to start hacking into the code of the Lion Flakes to see how I might use it. Any tips or help appreciated. So 1 model, multiple targets on different planes to keep the model orientated when they are looking around. I assume each target has to be unique, to allow the tracking to be oriented to its plane...
