Multitarget trigger hangs

im not sure this is in on topic, im using vuforia 2.0 with unity (4) and unity plugin.

i have a project with a multi target, vuforia finds the target quite easy and when it eventualy apply's the render of the 3d it tracks great. However when the tracker is found the multitarget is not placed in the scene!

i can see in x-code the tracker is found and lost, and that responds quite fast but the image barely ever gets triggered. Has this trigger functionality changed in 2.0, i haven't had this problem before.

about the size difference, i didn't send you the original image, but il make it bigger :) also, i sent you one of the 6 faces of a cube so i actually need the multi tracking. about the missing DefaulTrackableEventHandler, il check this right now! cant believe i removed the script :D

I think I know what the problem is, notwithstanding the issues I pointed out below.

Your Multitarget differs from the prefab in that it is missing the DefaulTrackableEventHandler script.  Without this there ought to be no augmentations because the OnTrackableStateChanged event handler will not fire.

So try adding this back as a component and see if it makes a difference.

Hi jonasdeherdt,

I have had a look at your project.

The first thing that I noticed was that the size of the actual showImage.jpeg for detection was very small 320*320.

The second thing is am not sure why you are using MultiTargets in any case, as these will use more processing power because Vuforia will be looking for up to 6 targets.  One of the problems might be the way the MT is set up, as I notice that internally they are all 512*512, but in actual fact you have a cuboid in the scene.

My feeling is that you would be better off using a single Image Target as this should be rock solid, and in any case it's probably worth doing this as a test to narrow things down a bit.

the log in x-code shows the trackable to be found easy persistent and fast, but the 3d i placed on to my mutitarget is not rendered.

when i launch the app it just finds the target and does nothing. if i change faces or move the trackable cube in and out of the camera it eventually triggers and apply's the 3d. Once the object is rendered it tracks great. so the quality of the tracker is good. 

im using a cube tracker 10.0 wide with individual image ratings of 5 stars (cant find the rating of the cube)

the image target responds fine, its just the multi one that doesnt trigger

Are you saying that your MT is identified but then appears to be lost & found very quickly i.e. it seems not to persist?

Does this happen with the FlakesBox?

Also, what rating are you getting?
