Overcoming project size issues

I have a client who wants to continually add models add functionality to a Vuforia app I am making them. They are continually adding corporate clients and would like to add a AR animation for each new company that comes along over time. I am concerned that a year from now the project will have grown so big that it will be too big to download and and to process on a cell phone. Is there any way to deal with this app size issue without making an app for each company?

One possible strategy to handle a growing number of Models in Unity is to use AssetBundles, which can be stored on a server and downloaded "on-demand" by the application.
