Same gameobject different image targets

Is it possible for the same game object to be tracked by multiple image targets? (Without having to duplicate a copy for each one.)

Not if they should each present the same instance of the game object. In this case you would need to replicate the object by creating new instances.

is there a way to do this supporting multiple trackables at a time?

You should be able to do this procedurally, by assigning the transform.parent of the object to the active Trackable, though this will only support one Trackable at a time.
