The time at start of scanning image for cloud recognition

April 22, 2013 - 3:16pm #1

Hello, where to change the time at which begins scanning the image for recognition? I have the following problem when I run an application where you need to wait 2 seconds before you start scanning the image (via the cloud recognition), and I would do to begin to scan the image at once as soon as the application to run. Thanks in advance.

Apparently you have not fully understood, the fact that I make my application based on the recognition cloud simple app, I found somewhere in the code, the value of time after which after the application starts scanning the image, but now I can not find where this value is changed . Once found, to their stupidity changed the value that now when you run my application I need to wait about 2 seconds before you start scanning the image, but now I do not remember where this will change and I can not find (. Previously, immediately began scanning the image, or more precisely scan the still show up when the screen saver Unity3D. Help please, thanks in advance.

You'll need to implement your own timer to monitor the desired delay interval, and then you can call mCloudRecoBehaviour.CloudRecoEnabled = [ true || false ] to start and stop Cloud Recognition when you want to initiate scanning.

Take a look at how the Cloud Reco state is controlled in CloudRecoEventHandler.cs. The Start() method demonstrates how you can reference the CloudRecoBehaviour class from the Cloud Recognition prefab..

        CloudRecoBehaviour cloudRecoBehaviour = GetComponent<CloudRecoBehaviour>();

Also there are some good examples of how to control CR interactively in CloudRecoSampleMenu.cs
