Unity 4.3 Android Viewport too small

November 14, 2013 - 1:32pm #1

I just got Unity 4.3 today and any project I build now has a bug where the camera only shows up on a quarter of the screen, the rest is all black. This even happens in the image targets sample.

Is this a known issue or have I done something wrong? Is there a way to fix it or debug it?

Got it working. Not sure what happened to my previous project but I had to start a new one from scratch, may have been an unknown bug. It's working properly now, thanks for the reply.

Make sure that you've migrated your project to 2.8.7 correctly - https://developer.vuforia.com/resources/dev-guide/migrating-your-unity-project

For me, with Unity 4.2.2 is OK.  I created a new project with the example on Image Target and it works fine..

@fabio1955 - you are seeing the same viewport issue w/ 4.2.2? - have you tried creating a new project to compare?

@herrozerro there is no issue w/ Win 8, though there is an issue w/ Unity 4.3.

Nope.  I used 2.6.7 and downgraded Unity to 4.2.2f1.  I'm on OSX Mavericks and just started using Unity so it's a pretty clean environment.

I just tried downgrading, but when I umport the unity package 2.6.7, but after it unpacks the files and Editor\QCAR\FrameMarkerTextures/frameMarker_Sample.png it crashes, I have tried removing some of the files and when i totally remove the "Qualcomm Augmented Reality" it loads, but nothing works. I just get a Unity Editor has stopped working.  Any ideas?

There is a known issue w/ Unity 4.3, you'll need to use an earlier version of Unity until our next SDK release, which is soon.
