Unity+Vuforia/AR+GPS/Compass

HI All

 

Hope this question hadnt been asked before:

I'm trying to build an Android app in Unity3D - with GPS to identify outdoor locations, Compass to show directions and Vuforia / Augmented Reality camera/features to show these directions; but these 3 features seemed to be conflicting with each other

Does anyone had this experience or have done this before?

Yes, I saw some of them but it's a bit more complex than that ; I might need to add some computer vision and, mostly, I need a HMD support (cardboard and/or smartglasses)...

if you are looking for something like Pokemon Go, you dont have to waste money with Vuforia. There are some tutorial on Youbube. Go search for 'Markerless location base AR', or even Pokemon Go + Unity.

I need to do geo-localisation-based augmented reality and was wondering if anyone managed to do something similar with Vuforia.

Is the Unity solution feasible ?
