Using the AR VR Sample Issue with 5 Image Target

Im currently using the AR VR sample provided.
i have it to only show 1 at a time.
Currently when i have 4 image targets under trackable object it works fine.

If i add 1 more, then the camera gets all crazy

it seems to reposition the camera, then everything looks shifted to the bottom left on the head gear.

Please advice.

I am so sorry, i was having a c# error in the OnTrackingLost/Found.

Where i implemented a video controlling code:

if (videoController != null)
                videoController.Stop();
 
Where i didnt had the condition check before calling the Stop method.

This is working as expected.

This is still not working.

Im getting a shifted view on my Samsung Gear VR, with S6 Samsung Galaxy.

I have updated to Unity 5.3.4 32bit

and using 5-5-9 sample files AR-VR scene.

 

Any ideas what might be causing this?

I have deactivated VRWorld as for the project im working is not needed.

Also removed references to children in VRWorld from the GazeRay child inside AR Camera.

 

Please let me know if i should test with all those components active?

I tested the ARVR 5.5.9 sample with a dataset containing 5 image targets and it worked fine on the Gear VR with the Galaxy S6 (5.1.1) and compiled with Unity 5.3.4f1. I would suggest creating a new Unity project, importing the 5.5.9 sample and your dataset and seeing if that works.

Currently using Samsung Gear VR
The Behavior is seen in the device
Running this on a Samung S6
Android Marshmallow 6
Unity 5.3.1f
Vuforia 5.0.10
ARVR Sample from this package: arvr-5-0-10.unitypackage

The Reason why im using an old version of Unity and Vuforia is because it works, also a bit afraid that if i upgrade it might break the progress i have so far.
Everything works fine, until i add in the extra image target.

I have also turned Multithreaded Rendering off, because one of the other plugins im using is not compatible with it (Easy Movie Texture).

  • Are you using Cardboard or Gear VR?
  • Which version of Cardboard/Gear VR?
  • Which version of Vuforia / ARVR Sample?
  • Can you provide a screenshot of your Unity Hierarchy with the 5 targets?
  • Can you provide screenshot of ARCamera Inspector settings?
  • Is behavior seen in Unity PlayMode or on device?
  • Which device, and what OS version?
