Vuforia Memory Issue?

I have an iPad kiosk set running a Vuforia app for 6 days now. It has worked fine up to lunch today. When I put one marker in front of the camera nothing happened. When I put another marker in front of the camera the AR elements appeared but they were small or maybe far away from the camera.
I restarted the game and everything is fine now. Can you think of a reason this would happen?

If the app crashes again I will setup a test station connected to Xcode. Thank you.

Thanks for the additional details.

It would be nice if you could make a continuous running test with a test device plugged to Mac so to be able to capture some error logs, as these could provide the indication of the actual error condition.

Without that information, it is difficult to tell whether the crash was due to a possible leak or any other cause.

Also, it would be useful to have a test with amd without 3D animations, so to identify if the issue is actually caused by Vuforia.

-It is a custom app using Vuforia. 

-Yes it ran for 6 days continously. The ipad is acting as point of sale device and needs to remain on constantly.

-It was not tethered to unity or Xcode so I do not have any logs to disect. 

-There is not much more in the scene than the Vuforia package and some 3d animations.

Hard to tell what it could be; you are running an app, but is it a Vuforia sample ? or a custom app ?

did you run the app continuously for 6 days ?

did you take note of any error message from the logs ?

without exact details and a repro-case it is hard to figure out what could have caused this...
