Vuforia Object Target

August 6, 2015 - 9:03am #1

Hi All,

I've a situation and really hope someone can help me. I have an AR project related with 3D Object Target. I've scanned my 3D object using provided Android Apps. Then register .od file as Object Target at Target Manager. After that I've followed every single steps to develop in Unity Extension. But when I try it, seems it's very difficult to find the feature marker of scanned 3D object. As result, my scanned 3D object can't be recognized (btw, the 3D object tracked perfectly by Vuforia's 'Scanner' Android Apps). I've tried to install it as an Apps in my iPad but the result still same, unrecognizable. Can you please suggest me how to handle this issue. Should all of the dome covered by green color when I scan the 3D object? is it related with my development environment since I use Unity Mac and iPad (meanwhile the Vuforia Object Scanner work on Android system)?

Looking forward to hear something, any help or comment will be highly appreciated.

Thanks before for your attention.

Some objects are better for detection than others. Make sure you read this: https://developer.vuforia.com/library/articles/training/object-recognition

While more points in the app the better. If you just get a few points even if you have many green sections your object will not be easy to detect.
