Vuforia with Unity: GUI

April 3, 2012 - 3:23am #1

If you developed Vuforia with Unity then creates the GUI (for example start-menu) with Unity? Or integrated their Unity with Eclipse (In the case of android) and writes the GUI with Android Layout XML? What is the standard case?

How do you create a GUI with Unity for Android and iOS? Do you use plugins?

The controls will scale w/ the resolution, but you'll need to implement your own sizing and layout adjustments for the best results. They are very basic controls and are not specifically designed for mobile devices.

Unity provides GUI controls. So you can simply define these in a script and attach them to the ARCamera. It's very easy.
