webcam Behavior Script doesn't exist in Inspector

February 2, 2013 - 9:44am #1

Hey guys,
I have just installed the new Vuforia 2.0 and I'm using Unity 3.5, however when I try to use the Teapot and "OCAR-imagetarget", I can't find the Webcam Behavior Script in the inspector like it happens in the video.

Anyone can help me on this ??

You'll want to migrate those projects to 2.0.30 - https://developer.vuforia.com/resources/dev-guide/migrating-your-unity-project

Also be aware that you can't package the webcam feature into apps. It will only run in the Unity Editor.

Yea that was actually the problem .. I was using an old version of the Teapot project sample .. I got the new one and the webcam is working well .. however how can I use that in other projects .. should I import some scripts only or what .. I mean if I'm to develop a project .. I won't have these scripts.

Basicly the question is if I'm to develop an app .. I should just customize that project or what ?

Be sure that you are not using an earlier version of the ImageTargets sample. The installer doesn't include the samples. You can obtain the 2.0 ImageTargets sample here - https://developer.vuforia.com/resources/sample-apps/image-targets-sample-app

Once this is imported, check the ARCamera's Inspector and you should see a Web Cam Behaviour component towards the bottom of the panel.
