App that shows users' results

June 30, 2021 - 7:29pm #1

Hello! First of all, I'm sorry if I'm writing this on the wrong sub-forum. I'm learning how to use Vuforia and Unity and I was wondering if it's possible to create a mobile app that shows the results of different users after they take a quiz. The main idea is that once the user scans the target they have to take a quick quiz and then they get a custom result, which is a drawing. The drawing would appear on a nearby wall alongside the drawings that other users previously got after they took their quiz. Is this possible at all? How should I approach this?

Thanks in advance! :)

Yes definetly, there are several ways how to do this.

1. You would need to decide which feature to use for recognizing and tracking? Image Target would be ideal here.

2. Once the image is recognized, do you want them to fill out an page on the internet? or do you want to use virtual buttons?

3. In regards for the drawing to appear on the wall, you can have the other images appear in connection to the intial image scanned, by having the Image Target as parent and activating the ChildGameObject once the quizz is complete.

I would also start with our Core Samples available here:, in which we demo different features.

The steps provided above are high-level and additional coding needs to be done to facilitate it. However I hope if provides a good overview of what is needed.

Thank you.
