Is this AR game possible on Vuforia

I've been thinking about this for a long time and am not sure if this game could be done on vuforia mainly because I don't know how to make an image target a collider. Just watch the first few seconds of the game and you'll understand it. I'm fine with keeping the marker on the table, not sure how they did it without it.
