ARCore setup in Unity

I'm trying to follow the instructions on how to setup ARCore in Unity:


However, I'm stuck when it gets to the build.gradle files. Where do I find them? They are not part of the Unity project. I was always building my Unity apps for Android without Android Studio, just from within Unity. Do I have to change this process to be able to modify these gradle files?

You're probably right that the section "Native Android" doesn't apply to Unity. My bad.

Regarding your question: No, I stopped my ARCore integration activities until I got an answer to this question. Now that I know that the native stuff isn't needed, I will try again.

I am also trying to use both ARCore and Vuforia 7.2 in the same project with Unity 2018.1.6.

But I don't think you have to do the "Native Android" part of the instructions. In my understanding, I think we only have to follow the "Unity" part.


However, I don't succeed to use ARCore components from the SDK (such as Planes Detection, Pointcloud visualizer, Environmental Light or Cloud Anchor) and Vuforia 7.2 in the same project. I installed ARCore SDK unitypackage v1.3.0 but I have build errors due to an incompatibility between AndroidManifest from Vuforia and ARCore.
