Black Camera Feed Unity 2019.1.2f1

When I add the following stuff to an empty scene:

ARCamera, Image Target (with 3D object as child) No scripts

Delete main camera, toggle Vuforia support in Player settings and build to android device, I get a black camera feed background.

Everything worked perfectly in previous versions. Is there a fix? Anything else is on default.

I minimize the app and resume it continues to load again. It is after that, that my UI is visible, my model (which is a child of an image target) is partially visible staticly (it doesn't move around when the device moves) but the background is all black. I did clean installs of Unity and vuforia, tried through cloud build, even tried to downgrade vuforia but it does not work.

Any update on this?

My vuforia stops working when i pause the app, then unpause, go back to a scene that does not use vuforia and then to a scene that uses it.

I did clean installs of Unity and vuforia, tried through cloud build, even tried to downgrade vuforia but it does not work. I can't downgrade my project either so I'm kinda panicking right now. 

 

Currently trying to deploy to iOS, hopefully the problem does not occur there, or else I'm in real trouble :(

 

I'll keep you all updated

Hello,

Thanks for the report. I was able to replicate and am now investigating with the team.

Do the Vuforia Engine Core samples, from the Unity Asset Store, work? Those have been tested by the team and should function as you expect.

I'm guessing there is something in the build settings that needs to be adjusted. Get back to you if/when we find a solution.
