Camera is not rendering ImageTargets

April 30, 2018 - 3:01am #1

Good day all,

I'm setting up a new project with Vuforia, and to test the setup I use the scenes within Vuforia package (vuforia-unity-6-2-10.unitypackage)

I use the scene: Assets->SampleResources->Scenes->  3-ImageTargets

I expect that when I hit play the Astronaut, Drone, Oxygen and Fissure images would appear on my white desk (similarly to tutorials watched on youtube...)

but instead I see the white desk with no images from unity.

I'd like to ask if it's working for you and how can this be fixed?

Camera is not rendering ImageTargets

Hello EcoEditor,

Vuforia 6.2.10 is an older version of the SDK that is only compatible with Unity 5.6. This version also does not have the Astronaut and other images as part of its base targets.

If you are using Unity 5.6, you can continue using this version of Vuforia, but there are no longer samples available for this.

I would recommend upgrading to Unity 2017.3 or 2018.1 and using the integrated version of Vuforia, which can be downloaded either when downloading Unity or through the Player Settings within Unity. These versions have samples available through the Unity Asset Store that will demonstrate how to perform the behaviour described in your post.

Thanks,

Vuforia Support
