We're using Unity 2018.2.0 with Vuforia 7.1.35. We want to render the Vuforia CameraImage to a Texture2D so we can put it in a Unity UI Image element. We based our design off of this sample documentation - https://library.vuforia.com/articles/Solution/Working-with-the-Camera#How-To-Access-the-Camera-Image-in-Unity
We're not doing anything more sophisticated than registering the pixel format, getting the Vuforia.Image, and then calling its CopyToTexture() method.
Everything works great in the editor, however, when we create a build for iPad, 6th generation, the Texture2D is rotated by 90 degrees. (Our application only supports portrait orientation)
Additionally, after every scene load, whenever we fetch the Vuforia.Image camera image again, it simply returns the last good frame from when we were in the previous scene.
Any ideas on how to resolve this?
