Can the ARKit 2.0 package and Vuforia run in parallel?

I need functionality that is available in ARKit 2.0, but - as far as I can see - not in Vuforia 7.2. In particular, I want to save a whole AR world setup and transfer it to another device. Is it possible somehow to use Vuforia for target tracking and ARKit for world mapping in parallel? I don't want to wait until Vuforia catches up with the latest ARKit features.
