Hi,
Is it possible to use a DSLR Camera as an AR Camera in Unity Vuforia?
I can be able to use the below Cameras as AR Camera in Unity vuforia.
1) Web Camera
2) Droid Camera - Connecting to mobile on wifi
But when I try the same with a DSLR, it is not being listed under Unity Vuforia WebCam Devices list directly. So I used "SparkoCam" plugin after which it is getting listed under WebCam Devices. But when I press on play button, I can see only the black screen in the game window. It is not loading the Camera. Can you please help me on this?
Is there any work around I should perform to achieve this? Thanks in advance.
Maybe try editing the webcam
Does the DSLR work well as a webcam in other programs like skype or similar? Maybe try editing the webcam profile to see if it helps? Look for profiles.xml in Unity install directory if using 2017.2 or in the .unitypackage if using 5.6.
DSLR cannot be used as Webcam
DSLR cannot be used as Webcam directly. When it is used with Sparkocam, it is working well as a webcam in skype and hangout.
I did edit Webcam Profiles script. It was not having Sparkocam Settings in it and was giving the below warning.

I used SparkoCam and works good using Canon DSLR. Now I am trying to use the Vuforia External Camera features for deployment into Windows UWP. Anybody have ready made solution for this?
Thanks!
