Hi Bach44,

There is sometimes an issue with installing the component in Unity 2017.2.0b8, could you try it again with Unity 2017.2.0b9?

Thanks,

Edit> Project Settings> Player> XR Settings>

There's just a link to download yet another package. Why not just include this inside Unity?

By enabling "Vuforia support" with the Unity installer you would expect everything to be included.

To make things worse when the installer runs it fails. (attached)

So the solution seems to be use Unity 5.6

It appears at every unity 2017 launch. Then I press "Clear" button and this error disappear.

Hello 3d03,

If I'm understanding you correctly, you did check the box during installation of the 2017.2 beta but are now unable to find how to add Vuforia game objects? If this is the case, you can access our game objects in Unity 2017.2 by clicking on the "GameObject" menu at the top of Unity, scrolling down to "Vuforia" and selecting an object to add similar to how you would add a regular Unity object. Alternatively, you can reach this menu with right click. I've attached a screenshot to demonstrate.

If you were having trouble with something else, could you provide some additional clarity please?

Thanks,

I can't find anithing about Vuforia after installation of this Vuforia Build Target. Can't see any menu except of AR and XR, nothing about Vuforia ARCamera, or ImageTarget etc.

Then i decided to simply import Vuforia plugin "Unitypackage" and also have found errors in debug window, saying that Vuforia have been already imported to project.

Sorry for my bad English

i can't find "Vuforia AR" checking box in my unity2017.2.0b8, Edit -> Project Settings -> Player Settings -> XR Settings.

there only a "XR Support Installers -> Vuforia Augmented Reality" option for download, and i download the "UnitySetup-Vuforia-AR-Support-for-Editor-2017.2.0b8.pkg" and install that, by click that option.

i restart computer, i didn't find Vuforia in the menu bar and other place, nothing happend in my unity, but i found vuforia support folder has installed in my computer, what's wrong with my setting.

do mac os doesn't support that?

can vuforia6.2.10 support unity2017.2.0b8?

Hello Ryan2015,

Unity 2017.2.X use a natively integrated version of Vuforia and thus importing Vuforia 6.2.10 will cause errors. Instead of importing Vuforia, you can active it in Unity by navigating to the player settings (Edit -> Project Settings -> Player Settings) and then checking the "Vuforia AR" box under "XR Settings" at the bottom. Once that is done, you can start adding Vuforia game objects through the "Game Objects" menu in the top bar or by right clicking in the scene and selecting an object under the "Vuforia" section.

Thanks,

-Vuforia Support
